About Lauren
I'm Lauren, 28, from Cork, Ireland. I'm down to earth, adventurous and gentle.
I studied BSc International Development & food policy in Cork University. After graduating, I opened an award winning vegan restaurant in 2017. I absolutely love to cook and I'm an animal lover and passionate about the wellbeing of animals (and humans!).
In 2020, I took an opportunity to travel to Thailand and train as a yoga teacher. Yoga has been my solace for the last 10 years, in times of stress and joy. It helped me to overcome the ups and downs of life. I started teaching immediately after I qualified in Vinyasa Yoga and I fell in love with sharing this wonderful sport with others.
In October 2022, I did my 300 hours Ashtanga + Hatha in Rishikesh, India. I am certified in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin. Since qualifying as an international yoga instructor, I have been involved with private clients, hosting workshops, teaching groups of 50+ students, teaching in person classes every week as well as yoga for over 50s, and a weekly online splits training class. I am a lululemon yoga ambassador and I host and organise regular yoga events in Cork. I host international yoga retreats that combine my passion for plant-basedfood and yoga.

I am passionate about teaching the art of feeling good in your skin, of mindful movement, of breath, of meditation, of strength, mobility and flexibility. Yoga brings all of these aspects together.
I teach many different styles of yoga including Hatha and Yin and I specialise in Vinyasa, Meditation and Breathing. Yoga connects movement with the breath so it becomes like a dance or a moving meditation.
I have over 2 years in-person and online teaching experience and I also organise and host yoga events and retreats in Ireland and abroad.
I teach all levels and ages from Beginners to Advanced. I would love to teach you if you have never tried yoga, if you're looking to improve your practice or have a specific goal.
A typical class will be one hour.
