About Deji
I have a BSc degree in Computer Science. I've taught the GMAT and the GRE to several candidates since 2012; alongside my day job, which gave me room for flexibility in my daily schedule.
Between 2008 and 2018, I have worked as a Management Consultant, headlining several consulting projects for bluechip companies in Nigeria.
I write scripts and screenplays full time now, and teaching the GMAT or the GRE seems a complimentary way to earn while I write

First, I will conduct a "diagnostic" test; which I will co-review with my client(s) so we can both agree on areas where improvement is needed and thus be able to create areas of focus or priority; if needed. Next, I will do an overview of the exam syllabus, which is basically my teaching syllabus. After this, I will create a teaching schedule, specifying what I intend to teach on which specific day and what the learning objective will be for the client(s) for that specific day. My teaching materials are broken into modules, each module comprising specific strategies as they relate to the competence (say, Probability, in Quantitative Word problems) I'm tryinging to impact on my client(s). After each strategy is taught, say over a 60-minute period, I will extract past exam questions in which the newly-taught strategies find application and jointly examine them with the client; then leave a few for the client to solve by himself or herself. Also, at this point, I will do an overview of the reference materials with the client. In a few weeks, after I must have covered a sizeable portion of the exam syllabus, I will begin putting my client(s) through simulated exams in order for them to perfect their exam questions answering techniques and pacing (timing).
