About Yu See
I am a recent graduate from the London School of Economics, where I studied Actuarial Science. I studied IGCSE, where I achieved 9 A*s, and A-Level, where I achieved 2 A*s (Maths and Chemistry) and 2 As (Further Mathematics and Physics). The reason why I want to teach Maths is because it's a subject many students struggle to see the real-world purpose of, and I'd like to break down that barrier. I want to instil interest in the subject by breaking down seemingly complex concepts into more digestible content, and help my students achieve their own specific goals, whether that's passing with confidence or pushing for the top grade.

I like to connect mathematical concepts to real life applications for a more effective understanding of any maths topic, as well as to pique interest in the subject - this comes naturally to me, since I have interned in market risk and quantitative finance, where I see these concepts applied every day. The typical length of a class will last 1 hour.
I used to volunteer at a non-profit organisation as an Additional Mathematics tutor, and since then I have completed a Maths/Statistics heavy bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from the LSE. My classes will be suitable for students who are going for GCSE and A-Level exams - just let me know your exam board and topics so I can tailor sessions to what you need!
