About Jose
Sound emerges like a soft breath when your bow hold remains perfectly aligned with the bridge. I emphasize posture and tone production as the foundation of every practice.
We explore shifting positions and vibrato with rhythmic clarity. My degree from Université Laval Faculté de musique shapes how I explain music theory. Students often struggle with tuning by ear, so we practice that skill daily. I monitor your progress through orchestral playing exercises.

Have you ever wondered why your bow feels heavy during complex shifts? As a violin coach, I observe the physical habits of students ranging from performance-focused learners to hobbyists. I have taught 84 students.
After completing my MMus at Université Laval Faculté de musique, I spent 13 years performing across Quebec. This time on stage informs my teaching perspective. My 13 years of experience guide the way. I focus on posture, intonation, and spiccato bowing.
I teach returning learners how to reconnect with their instrument. Technique matters. I share a monthly progress report with parents to ensure transparency.
