About Smita
Hello, I’m Smita, and I’m delighted to be starting my journey as a tutor in Math, Science and Computer Science.
I’ve spent the last 18 years working in technology, and my career has taken me from software engineering/testing and web services to cloud security research and leading delivery for a national scale technology program. Along the way, I’ve mentored teams of engineers, run regular reviews and learned how to explain complex ideas clearly to people at every level. That experience taught me patience, structure and the value of getting to the root of a problem.
I hold a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and I’m also a Certified Scrum Master and Product Owner. Teaching is a career I’ve chosen deliberately, because I enjoy helping people understand things and seeing their confidence grow.
As a new tutor, I give each student my full attention and preparation. I listen carefully, never rush, and welcome every question, however small. My goal is simple: to help you understand the subject properly, not just memorize it.

Method: I begin with a quick assessment to find your strengths and gaps, then build a personalized learning plan. Concepts are explained step by step with real-world examples, followed by practice and regular revision.
Class structure: recap and doubts, new concept, guided practice, independent practice, short summary and weekly goals.
What sets me apart: a B.Ed, an MCA and 18 years in technology, including mentoring teams and tracking progress with clear reporting. You’ll always know how you’re improving.
