About Lakshmi
I am a Chartered Accountant by qualification, but teaching has always been my true passion. I have over 20 years of teaching experience across colleges and coaching institutes, and for the last 6+ years, I have been teaching math online to school students globally.
My background in finance gives me a deep comfort with numbers, but as a teacher, my approach is warm and patient.
My Goal for Your Child
Math can be intimidating, and my main focus is to change that. I work closely with students to:
Remove the fear of math and exam anxiety.
Build real confidence and interest by making sure they truly understand the concepts.
With over six years of online teaching experience, I know exactly how to keep students engaged, comfortable, and learning effectively through a screen.

My Teaching Approach: Concept First, Confidence Next
I provide customized, 1-on-1 online math sessions tailored to your child’s unique needs, school curriculum, and pace.
How I Teach: The "Cue & Think" Method
No Spoon-Feeding: I don't just give answers. I guide students with strategic cues, encouraging them to think critically and solve problems independently.
Patient Error Support: I hand-hold students through tricky concepts and mistakes, building their comfort level step-by-step until the fear of math is gone.
Rock-Solid Foundations: I focus deeply on core concepts, using repetitive reinforcement so the basics become second nature.
Who This Is For (Grades/Years 6–10)
School Support: Students needing help with homework and structured preparation to ace school tests/exams.
Competitive Edge: Aspiring students looking to crack elite exams like Math Kangaroo/AMC and Olympiads.
Global Curricula: Alignment with IGCSE, Common Core, and International frameworks.
