About Jacob
I am a college freshman at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL and I am pursuing my Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science with hopes to earn a Doctorate in Mathematics. As a way to earn money for college and bulk up my resume, I have decided to offer my services as a tutor for basic mathematical concepts/topics, and hopefully advanced mathematical concepts/topics later on.

Although I have minimal experience in tutoring, I have offered assistance to fellow students struggling in mathematics. Often the methodology I use to help them is framing problems or concepts in a new way in hopes that this will help the student better understand it. Furthermore, I am usually very good at breaking down processes step-by-step to enhance the learning process.

Details
Rates do not vary, flat rate of $10/hour. However, this rate is subject to change based on demand; if price needs to increase, current clients will only see a marginal increase while future clients will see the full increase.
Appointments may be cancelled at any time. However, if the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours prior to said appointment, there will be a 50% cancellation fee*.
*I only include this, because I may not be able to get a new client for your specifically reserved time and I want to make sure I am not losing too much money in last minute cancellations. Thank you for understanding!
