About Elena

I am in my third year of BA American Studies (Literature) and Journalism at the University of Kent, working at a 1st. I have studied English from primary to university level, consistently working at a high standard.

As a university student, I understand the current education system and methods of teaching effectively.

My experience of tutoring consists of tutoring my four younger siblings through their education, all at different levels and capabilities.

I am a dedicated, organised individual with strong communication skills and a caring nature.

About the lesson

My teaching method is centred around the student’s individual needs. I base my classes on aiding their personal development and working towards upcoming exams or assessments. I recognise that every student learns differently and will work to identify the student’s most effective method of learning, building lessons around that.

Elena is no stranger to homeschooling. Having tutored her four younger siblings, aged between 7 & 15 through a variety of subjects, and being an exceptional peer, allowing them to enjoy learning and excel in their education.

Elena, is a patient, dedicated, organised individual with strong communication skills and a caring nature, who I would highly recommend to tutor anyone at any age.

Very kind and friendly. Proof read a lot of undergraduate level work for me and helped me attain higher grades on my assessments -taking me from 2.1s to firsts. Would deffinetly recommend for anyone struggling with writing or with English in general.
