About Chantell
I am a qualified and registered health care practitioner, with 15 years' experience in private practice. I am currently on a sabbatical to spend more time with my kids and to home-school my youngest. I have always been passionate about teaching; I was a tutor for several years during my student years and early in my career. I have experience in creating and teaching health and wellbeing content for both professionals and the general public. I enjoy explaining complex health-science related topics in fun and easy to understand ways.

My tutoring technique uses a whole-brain learning approach, combining visual learning, memory techniques and pictures. First, we create a mental framework before adding content to help students organise, understand and retain complex health-science syllabus. Lessons are aimed at high school biology and physiology, as well as tertiary students, anatomy, physiology and pathology. I am proficient in English and Afrikaans.
