About Paityn

My name is Paityn and I studied at Indiana University where I received a Bachelor's of Science in Ballet and Astronomy/Astrophysics. I currently use my ballet degree as a professional ballerina in Las Vegas, NV. I love being able to explain the physics behind ballet to my students while helping them find their own artistry.

About the lesson

I have been dancing since the age of three and now dance professionally with Nevada Ballet Theatre. In high school I worked as a teacher's assistant, and then in college I studied ballet pedagogy. I have been teaching ages 3-18 for the past five years and I am well equipped to help all levels of dancers.

I am pleased to write a recommendation on behalf of Paityn. She has been assisting my daughter for the past three years with her Honors math classes, including Algebra and Geometry.

Paityn is responsive, punctual, and exhibits good communication skills with regard to scheduling appointments. She will always try to make time to see my daughter when she needs extra help, especially before a test or quiz. She will even help answer homework questions via text between scheduled appointments.

My daughter’s math skills and her confidence have improved since working with Paityn. She has been consistently doing well in her Honors math classes now. She enjoys working with Paityn and is able to understand her explanation of difficult concepts that she may not fully grasp in class.

I highly recommended Paityn as a math tutor for any middle school or high school math student seeking additional support.

Paityn is amazing. She helped my 8th grader get caught up and end up with an A in the class. In fact it was her highest grade for all her classes!

My daughter said she was so good at explaining the concepts in a way she understands.

She was always on time and communicates quickly. We will definitely be using her in the future.

Paityn is a great and trustworthy teacher! She not only is incredibly smart, graduating from Indiana University with a bachelor of science in astronomy/astrophysics, she also is hardworking, caring, and patient. She has tutored my son countless of times with his math homework and studying for upcoming tests, and I was pleasantly surprised to see his grades improving! We are so grateful to have met Paityn!
