I've been a primary teacher for about 30 years and have tutored on and off during that time. I love the interaction from 1:1 sessions and know I can impact a child's future with my friendly style. I have tutored children successfully for entrance exams for selective high schools.

Firstly, I like to assess where a child is in terms of ability and attitude to learning. I plan for steady and sustained progress, enabling children to embed new learning as we go. I try to engage the child's interests whenever possible!
