About Randa
I am Egyptian, and have a passion for the Arabic language, as my first degree was in language and history. I love to teach Arabic, because I enjoy sharing my language and culture. I have been in Australia for 21 years, and can speak English fluently, and easily translate to and from Arabic.

To begin, I will focus on mastering the Arabic alphabet, as the script is the foundation of the language. I will start by teaching the alphabet and how letters change their forms depending on their position in a word.
Next, I will prioritize spoken Arabic and communication skills. Many students tend to focus excessively on grammar in the early stages, which can hinder their ability to communicate confidently.
Additionally, I will create an immersive learning environment by surrounding students with Arabic through simple conversations, media (such as songs, movies, and podcasts), and everyday scenarios.
Finally, I will emphasize vocabulary building and pronunciation. I will teach core vocabulary—the most common words and expressions used in daily life—to enable students to engage in practical conversations.
