About Amanda
"Walking into the first session, you will notice that we start by listening to your voice in its most honest state. I find that reviewing our performance recordings together each month creates the most reliable map for your progress.
Because I spent years on concert stages, I treat every student as a performer regardless of their current level or chosen genre. We work on vibrato control and harmony singing until the technique becomes second nature to you. My degree in voice informs every exercise regarding pitch and breath. How would you like to sound?"

"My BMus from the RAM provided the technical foundation for my 13 years as an opera performer. You probably wonder how stage fear can be managed through simple breathing control. I use my professional background to help kids, intermediate learners, and working professionals find their authentic sound.
We explore genre styling, microphone technique, and sight singing alongside the core principles of vocal health. My MA in Hispanic studies also adds a layer of precision to how I teach diction and articulation. I enjoy helping you discover the nuances of your own range. Let us begin this process together."
