About Raj
I am an astrophysicist who taught several subjects in the physics department at Queen's University alongside my research work. I am a patient and supportive teacher who takes care in attending to the individual needs of my students and takes pride in their accomplishments. I have experienced how overwhelming schoolwork can be firsthand, and I am driven to help others so their experience can be smoother than mine.

I believe in interactive, engaging learning that stems from a conversation rather than a one-sided lecture. I encourage all questions, and instead of answering directly, I prefer to ask follow-up questions that lead to a fundamental understanding of the solution. I have taught thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, special relativity, and astrophysics at the undergraduate level, with both a small (1 on 1) and large (50+) number of students. My capabilities extend beyond these specific topics to math, physics, and programming in general.
