About Maisie
Bonjour! I am an award-winning, First Class Graduate in French and Spanish. I spent my high school years in La Haute Vienne, France where I learnt to speak French fluently with a native accent. I was exposed to French from birth as my father taught French from home. More recently I was chosen to be the French representative of a UK based multinational, based on my expertise in the language. I've also taught English language in Spain under the British Council and as a private tutor.

Lessons can be tuned towards GCSE or A level, students wanting to practise French conversation for their Year Abroad/Erasmus, or adults with a keen interest in French and would like to learn! These lessons will be based around a subject that needs to be worked on for your qualification, or simply of your preference. This could include: - New vocabulary - Practice in pronunciation - Sentence structure, grammar and expressions I will make sure lessons are fun and memorable, and will link the language to the real world to ensure rapid progress! Maisie is an excellent French tutor. She's got a real knack at keeping me engaged while keeping lessons well structured, and she puts every inch of effort into my progress, making sure I practice what I've learned, which keeps me confident. Maisie focuses on plenty of speaking practice and thanks to this my accent has vastly improved. I would highly recommend her.
Maisie puts lots of effort and thought into making lessons fun and engaging by tailoring sessions to your own interests. Her lessons are well structured and cover the fundamentals whilst also allowing for plenty of more natural conversational interaction. Needless to say, as a fluent speaker who lived in France for much of her childhood her knowledge of the language is second to none.
