I had the privilege of being taught by Dr Jenvey during my MA in TESOL, where she was my lecturer for the “Language Teaching Methods” module. From the very beginning, Jane’s passion for teaching and her expertise in the field were clear. What I appreciated most about Jane’s teaching style was her ability to make complex concepts accessible and easy to understand. She used a wide range of engaging and effective teaching methods, creating a communicative and inclusive learning environment where students could truly participate and develop their understanding. Her approach not only helped me to engage deeply with the module as a student but also inspired me to incorporate many of the same techniques into my own teaching practice.

A particularly memorable aspect of learning with Jane was experiencing first-hand the impact of communicative teaching methods.
