About Joshua
A typical lesson often begins with a focused check on posture and airflow. Only 1 percent of singers breathe perfectly without conscious effort.
I provide free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes to ensure you maintain progress between our meetings. We systematically move through vocal range extension and pitch control to solidify your technique. My sessions serve kids, adults, and performance-focused students alike by using my music degree to demystify complex vocal mechanics.
We will address your personal goals at a pace that keeps you engaged. It really is quite simple.

The sound of a resonant chest voice vibrating against the ribs creates a unique sensation of physical connection to music. I bring 13 years of experience in vocal coaching to help hobbyists and advanced singers find that exact alignment through rhythm and phrasing. Having taught 313 students, I understand that singing is as much about mental confidence as it is about physiological control.
My Bachelor of Arts in English and BM Guitar from Humber College provided the foundation for my approach to teaching harmony and vibrato. You might appreciate that I balance technical rigor with a relaxed atmosphere. Feel free to join me for a session whenever you feel ready to sing.
