About Emily
Emily Sutterfield specializes in dance performance and choreography. She started dancing at the age of two and a half at a small studio in her hometown, Boynton Beach, Florida. From the start of her dance training until the end of high school Emily trained at multiple studios, after school and on weekends, attending classes, conventions, and competitions, to widen her knowledge of dance. These studios were where she trained after school and on the weekends, attending classes, conventions, and competitions with them. Simultaneously, Emily was a dance major at a middle school of the arts (Bak MSOA) and a high school of the arts (Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of The Arts.) Emily has gone to several dance intensives throughout her training including Joffery Ballet School, Art of Movement, and more. Alongside her training, Emily has set choreography among peers that was performed in shows and charity fundraisers. After graduating from Dreyfoos, Emily moved to Philadelphia where she now attends the University of the Arts as a dance major. While attending the UArts, Emily had the opportunity to perform in pieces set by renowned artists such as Sidra Bell, Katie Swords Thurman, Tommie-Waheed Evans, and Paul Matteson.
