About Atsmon
It thrills me to lead my students to the "a-ha moment".
I developed my approach by tutoring the toughest, my own kids, and continued from there to share my system and experience with other high-school students.
I coached students to improve their averages, some mildly, while others, more motivated, improved from as low as a fail to 90%.
I would like to know you as a student, learn about your strengths, and work with you to reinforce other areas of academic knowledge.

I emphasize understanding of the tutored subject. I use real life examples to explain and expand, and add logic to the subject.
This leads to less confusion between formulas, and better approach to solve application & understanding questions.
I use a lot of interaction with my students, and I ask them questions to engage them in the subject as active listeners, encourage them to think and implement, and increase their confidence in their abilities.
A typical lesson would have reinforcement of knowledge, followed by sample questions. When an important task is due, or a test is upcoming, I will focus on prep'ing that.
The typical student would be in high school (grades 9-12), at all levels. I'm well experienced with students with various IEP, level 1 Autism, and also high achievers that strive to excel.
I am also experienced with college & university freshmen students.
