About RICHARD

About Me:
Welcome! As a Licensed Professional Teacher holding a Bachelor of Secondary Education in English and over four years of dedicated classroom and tutoring experience, I am committed to helping students unlock their full potential in language, communication, and critical thinking.

My Approach:
I believe that mastering a subject starts with building confidence. My lessons are structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to each learner’s unique pace and style. Whether we are analyzing literature, sharpening academic writing, or strengthening core grammar skills, I provide step-by-step guidance and practical feedback in a supportive environment.

Why Work With Me?

Proven Qualifications: Fully credentialed educator with extensive experience in secondary education and curriculum standards.

Tailored Instruction: Every lesson is customized to meet your specific academic goals and overcome your individual challenges.

Structured Progress: Clear learning outcomes ensure you see measurable improvement in every session.

I look forward to partnering with you on your educational journey!

About the lesson

my goal is to make learning personal, interactive, and effective. Whether you are building confidence in a challenging subject or mastering complex concepts, my teaching philosophy centers on active engagement and practical application. I use an adaptive, Socratic, and learner-centered methodology designed to build critical thinking rather than simple memorization. Warm-up & Diagnostic (5 mins): A quick review or short diagnostic question to activate prior knowledge and gauge your starting point.

Concept Exploration (15 mins): Introducing new material through clear explanations, core principles, and relatable real-world examples.

Guided & Independent Practice (25 mins): Solving exercises, analyzing texts, or writing code together. As you gain confidence, I shift from leading to observing and providing real-time feedback.

Wrap-up & Self-Reflection (5 mins): Summarizing key takeaways, assessing confidence levels, and defining logical next steps or practice tasks.
