Banking and Finance student with 5 years’ tutoring experience teaches GCSE and A-Level Politics in London.

Kitty is incredible! I have been working with her for a year, where she leads university society partnership for the UK Student Finance Summit and much more - she always overdelivers and overachieves. Proactive, personable, hard-working, smiley, very responsive and communicative. A great team player and a carer for the group. She would be a great teacher! Highly recommend

To whom it may concern,

I am very pleased to provide a reference for Kitty Farrell, who has tutored me in both Mathematics and English.

During the time I have been tutored by Kitty, I have found her to be patient, knowledgeable and very approachable. She has always taken the time to make sure I understand what we are working on, and I have found her explanations clear and easy to follow.

In Mathematics, Kitty has been particularly helpful when I have struggled with more difficult topics. She breaks problems down into manageable steps and explains the reasoning behind them, which has helped me to understand what I am doing rather than simply memorising a method. I have become much more confident approaching questions independently as a result.

In English, I have found Kitty’s feedback particularly useful in helping me understand how I can improve my work. She explains what I could develop and why, while also helping me recognise what I am already doing well. This has made it much easier for me to take her feedback and apply it to my own work.

What I have appreciated most about being tutored by Kitty is how comfortable I have felt asking questions or admitting when I do not understand something. I have never felt rushed or embarrassed about needing something explained again, and she has always been willing to approach it differently if the first explanation has not clicked with me.

From my experience as her student, Kitty has been a reliable, supportive and encouraging tutor who has helped me improve both my understanding and my confidence. I have really valued being taught by her and would be very happy to recommend her as a tutor.
