About Dr Stephen
I am a Senior Lecturer in Anatomy at a top-10 UK University, and my day-job involves teaching anatomy to a broad range of learners on Medical, Biomedical and Allied-Health courses, across undergraduate, postgraduate and professional-level courses. I've been a student of Anatomy since 2009, and have been in teaching-centred roles since 2012, when I started my PhD in Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology. I am really enthusiastic about helping students to achieve success, and working in a more personal, one-on-one environment adds an extra element to this. I will always be honest about my own limitations, relative to your needs: it's no use pretending I can help if your request is beyond my expertise! The only way to find out though is to get in touch, and we can see where things go from there!

Hello there! My aim with any tutoring is to try and help you not to simply memorise your anatomy for the sake of exams, but to help build a deeper framework of understanding so you can take your skills forwards throughout your course, and then further into your life. We will work to figure exactly what you need to improve through our first lesson, and then we can put together a set of lessons that will advance your knowledge and skills, or target key areas you're struggling with. My primary focus is degree-level students (University, College, any level), but I am happy to speak to anyone of any level with a need for anatomy, and we can see together whether I can support your individual situation! Specific topic areas can include gross anatomy, histology, medical imaging, osteology and anthropology, and more - feel free to enquire to see if I can meet your individual needs! The initial lesson is intended to be around 30-40 minutes, to learn more about each other, followed by flexible, 60-minute sessions after this.
