About Bobby

I want to help students achieve their potential and I believe that tutoring them is the best way to do so. I want to give them the opportunity to be the pioneers of the future. I have an approachable teaching style where I try to get students to engage with what they're learning. My intention is to create a positive learning experience for students where curiosity is encouraged. I also want students to fine-tune the skills derived from understanding through practice and feedback. While I haven't been a teacher or a tutor, I was a peer student mentor at Kingston University, where I did my undergraduate degree in Media & Communication with Business. As a second-year student, I helped the first-year students with creating an essay plan, creating a bibliography, and creating a structure for their essay. I also taught them how to look for academic sources when writing an essay. I may not have had professional teaching or tutoring experience, but I would like to use this as an opportunity to help students in their field. This includes all sorts of students, especially those who struggle with their academics. I want to guide them so that they can do better in their studies, but also so that they can realise their potential. University : - Kingston University - BA Honours [Upper Second Class] School : A Levels - ICT [B] AS Levels - English Language [A] Other Qualifications : I was a peer student mentor for freshman students at Kingston University. I helped them create a bibliography, an essay plan, and structure their essays.
