About Loris
Hey! My name is Loris. I am French, grew up in The Netherlands, and went to a British school. I am 22 years old and have been playing the violin since I was 5. I started tutoring students from my former school 4 years ago and loved connecting with them and seeing their progress. I graduated from Berklee College of Music summa cum laude and gained a deep understanding of music theory and its application in composition and orchestration. I hope to continue to help students grow, to provide them with professional and comprehensive resources, and to make practicing enjoyable!

I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs. We identify a long-term goal and I plan a syllabus outlining what you’ll learn every week. I present choices of pieces that fit the student's current level, while challenging them to grow. I create a well-rounded curriculum so that your student learns with artistic intent!
I teach violin of all styles and I have been tutoring for 4 years and enjoy the process of seeing students grow. I also teach music theory, which compliments the student's analytical and compositional sides of music.
I teach fluently in English and French and offer lessons online or in person.
