About Kwanele
Hi, I’m Kwanele. I’m a Biological Sciences student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and I have a strong interest in Biology and science education.
I enjoy learning about Biology, but what I enjoy even more is explaining it to other people and seeing when a difficult concept finally makes sense. Through my science outreach experience, I have had opportunities to work with young learners and share my knowledge of Natural Sciences, biology, biodiversity, and the environment.
I’m interested in teaching because I want to make Biology feel less difficult and more interesting. I believe students learn better when they can ask questions, understand concepts in simple terms, and learn at their own pace.

My Biology lessons are focused on making difficult topics simple, clear, and easier to understand. I use step-by-step explanations and examples to help students understand the concepts rather than just memorising information.
Lessons can be adapted to the student’s needs, whether they need help understanding a specific topic, preparing for a test, revising work, or improving their confidence in Biology. I can also help identify areas where a student is struggling and work through them at a comfortable pace.
I aim to create a friendly and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning.
