About Linda
I am Linda, an aspiring scientific researcher with an MSc in Formulation Science, specializing in pharmaceutical sciences, and professional experience in pharmaceutical research and drug development.
During my time as a Student Ambassador at the University of Greenwich, I gained nearly a year of experience supporting science outreach activities, assisting with practical demonstrations and explaining scientific concepts to prospective students. This experience strengthened my passion for making science accessible, engaging and enjoyable for learners of different abilities.
My teaching philosophy centers on personalized learning. I recognize that every student has a unique learning pace, strengths and challenges. I tailor my teaching methods to individual needs, using real-world examples, interactive explanations and structured lessons to make complex scientific concepts easier to understand and remember.
I believe that encouraging curiosity, building confidence and setting achievable learning goals are essential to academic success. These principles have also shaped my own academic and professional journey, helping me achieve a distinction in my MSc research project and progress into a scientific role within the pharmaceutical industry.
I am committed to creating a patient, supportive and inclusive learning environment, including for students with additional learning needs. My aim is not simply to help students improve their grades, but to develop their understanding, independent thinking and confidence in science.
My specialist subjects include Biology, Cell Biology, Human Anatomy and Chemistry. I look forward to helping students overcome academic challenges, discover their potential and develop a genuine interest in science.
