About Jennifer
I'm a second year Nursing student on the pre-med track. I started tutoring while I was still in high school. I’ve been doing it for about 4 years now. By tutoring students of different levels, I get to share the knowledge I have and also improve my learning. My experience so far with tutoring has helped me become a really good teacher, so I know how to fashion each lesson to the various students I have. So when I tutor, I don’t follow a general template, but a personalized teaching structure designed for each student. This way I ensure my students are confident in their abilities.

I teach with already set out lesson plans depending on the student. Some students are competitive and love being challenged, while some students need to build confidence in themselves and realize how smart they are. My teaching technique will differ according to the student I tutor. What sets me apart as a tutor is my empathy, patience, ability to pick personality cues and experience working with individuals of different ages.
