About Sophie
I am an aspiring doctor and love biology, particularly human biology. I achieved a grade 9 (A*) at GCSE level and earned a platinum award in the University of Cambridge Isaac biology challenge. I studied chemistry and history alongside biology at A level and am very enthusiastic about the value of these subjects.

I tutor for 1 hour but this can be shortened or extended upon request.
I have experience as a history and science mentor in school for younger years and have run clubs to encourage student engagement in these subjects. I also have 4 years' worth of teaching experience as an ice skating coach, with a range of age groups.
I am able to adapt my lessons to my students' needs, however I typically approach lessons using active teaching styles which involve and engage the student.

Sophie is an amazing and active student who always goes above and beyond with real passion for her subject as seen in her a level results which are predicted as 3A*s. She is also great with working actively with kids and ensuring they have the best time learning especially since she has volunteered previously in schools and is a babysitter. Overall, the amount of care and effort she puts into each child individually is what makes her perfect for being a tutor and I couldn't recommend her more!
