About Emily
I am a first-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Worcester. Biomedical Science consists of in-depth Biology and Chemistry, therefore I feel I can confidently help students up to GCSE level. I took Biology, Chemistry and History A levels whilst tutoring GCSE students in Biology, and Chemistry for 2 years. I also have worked in retail and babysitting alongside my studies which has enabled me to develop good communication skills with people of all ages.

It is essential to get to know a student and find out about specific topics they are struggling with and the topics they are confident within a subject. It is also incredibly useful to discuss which exam board the student is using and what they aim to get out of tutoring. I like to go through content the student is struggling with, then complete some questions on the topic with the student to ensure full understanding. However, I am flexible with my teaching methods and I am open to specific requests from students.
