About Zoe
I am currently studying Biomedical Science at Royal Holloway University. I finished my first year with an average grade of 84.4% which is equivalent to a first. Prior to this, I took a gap year where I worked with a small business, Fiovana/Cheesie's, and helped with marketing, operations and other bits like organisation. I also worked at Zara as a Cashier expanding my teamwork and social skills. I completed my A Levels with an A in Chemistry, B in Biology and B in Psychology. I also gained an A in AS Maths. My GCSE'S were a total of 4A*'S, 5A'S and 1B, the B being in pesky German!

My teaching methodology is explaining the topic as clearly as I possibly can and then getting the student to make structured notes. After this, applying the knowledge to exam questions is the key for me. I like to get my students applying their knowledge on to questions as it is extremely helpful when you move up to A Levels and University. I also believe that most students try to memorise topics so when it comes to applying they struggle a lot as they don't understand what they have memorised. I believe a structured, organised method is the way forward with the student applying these skills into given exam questions.
