About Callum
Hi, my names Callum. I've completed a Bsc in biomedical sciences and have currently just finished my first year on a postgraduate medicine course. I have spent time teaching my friends and younger students for a while now and would like to pursue it further. I'm a patient tutor who tries to simplify everything into small digestible chunks. The way each session is taught will depend on the topic. With subjects such as biology and chemistry it's crucial that you gain a general understanding of the topic before trying to memorise the content. I made this mistake consistently in my A levels and it made it a lot harder then it needed to be! For a topic like maths, initial understanding of the methods is important but more emphasis should be placed on practice questions. Applying these concepts to exam style questions is ultimately what will get you the marks in an exam.
