About Serena

Hi! My name is Serena, and I'm 22. I grew up in Mauritius, where I completed my B2 French certification before continuing my studies in the language. I’m currently pursuing Higher Advanced French at university alongside my Biomedical degree, and I also have experience learning languages myself—I’m studying beginner Spanish!

I’d love to help anyone looking to improve their French or English, whether you're starting from scratch or aiming to refine your skills. My approach is relaxed, supportive, and tailored to your needs—whether that’s conversational practice, grammar, or exam preparation.

If you're looking for a patient, enthusiastic tutor who understands what it's like to learn a language, feel free to reach out!

About the lesson

I tailor my lessons to your level, goals, and learning style—whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your fluency. My approach is engaging and practical, focusing on real-life communication alongside grammar and structure.

A typical lesson includes:
Conversational Practice – Improve your speaking and listening skills with natural, real-world French or English.
Grammar & Vocabulary – Learn and apply key language rules in a way that makes sense.
Reading & Writing – Strengthen comprehension and expression through interactive exercises.
Pronunciation Tips – Sound more natural and confident when speaking.

Having lived in a French-speaking country and studied the language at an advanced level, I can help you move beyond just 'textbook French' to speak with ease. Whether you prefer structured lessons or a more casual, conversational approach, I’ll adjust to your needs! Let’s get started!
