About Haifa
Hi I'm Haifa, Teaching has always felt like the right path for me – I’ve been drawn to it since I was young. I’ve always loved the way a great teacher can make a student feel seen, valued, and capable. That’s the kind of impact I hope to have. I still remember my grade 1 art teacher, who allowed us to experiment and engage with content in different ways. What I enjoy most about working with children is their curiosity, honesty, and the small moments of growth that often go unnoticed – like when a quiet student suddenly volunteers an answer, or when a tricky concept finally clicks. Being part of that journey is incredibly rewarding. I try to create a calm, supportive learning environment where children feel safe to make mistakes and be themselves. Every child learns differently, so I take the time to get to know their unique style and adjust my approach accordingly. Above all, I want them to feel confident, encouraged, and excited to learn. Learning is a larger part of any person's life, the aim is to be a lifelong learner to promote ourselves to the best version possible.

I'm currently in my final year of a Master of Teaching at Deakin University and work part-time at a primary school, supporting young learners with a wide range of needs. With over 3 years of tutoring experience and 1 year working professionally in classrooms, I’ve developed a personalized approach that truly meets each child where they’re at. (I do have a working with children's check that encompasses paid work). I offer engaging, English and Math lessons for primary students – available online or in person around Melbourne. My sessions are designed to be calm, supportive, and tailored to your child’s pace and personality. Whether your child needs a little extra help or just a confidence boost, I’m here to guide them every step of the way and make learning something they look forward to.
