About Flora
Hello everyone! Born in Beijing, the capital of China, I am a professional Mandarin Chinese teacher, passionate about helping English speakers learn Chinese. With a background in linguistics and years of teaching experience, I specialize in creating engaging and effective learning experiences tailored to the needs of my students.
I am highly proficient in Mandarin and the Beijing dialect, which allows me to provide the most authentic language teaching. My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on communication and cultural immersion. I believe that learning a language is not just about memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules; it's about understanding the culture and history behind it. That's why I incorporate authentic materials and real-life scenarios into my lessons to make the learning process both enjoyable and practical.
I am also a strong advocate for the power of technology in education, so I use a mix of online tools and interactive methods to keep my lessons dynamic and my students motivated. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced learner aiming to perfect your skills, I am here to guide you on your language learning journey.
So, if you're ready to dive into the world of Chinese, let's get started together! I can't wait to see how far we can go.
