About Nikita
Hi, I’m a first-year Economics student at the University of Bristol with a strong academic background in Maths.
I decided to start tutoring because I know how challenging GCSE Maths can feel, and I enjoy helping students gain confidence and improve their understanding. Having completed my own exams recently, I’m very familiar with the course content and the pressure students face.
I’m patient, approachable, and focused on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students feel more confident and capable in Maths overall.

My GCSE Maths lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, whether that’s building confidence, catching up on difficult topics, or preparing for upcoming exams.
I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps, making sure students fully understand the method before moving on. Lessons typically involve a mix of teaching content, guided practice, and exam-style questions to reinforce learning and improve technique.
Having completed Maths recently myself, I’m very familiar with the GCSE specification and common areas students struggle with. I aim to create a supportive and patient environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.
Lessons are usually one hour long and are suitable for students of all abilities working towards their GCSE Maths exams.
