About Erik
I am a Scottish student, currently studying social sciences, I am experienced working with children and young people, via teaching sports, and having been a 'young scout leader' among other things. I have a passion for languages and history, and understand well the trials and tribulations that come with learning any one of the social sciences.

My teaching method is very student-centric, with the focus being put on the pupil immersing themselves in the topic, by looking at primary sources and exploring the context around a thinker or concept.
With key concepts gradually being introduced, starting off simple e.g the principles of democracy or the concept of deviant behaviour. Forming a solid understanding of the topic, upon which more complex concepts can be built upon.
