About Kiziah Mae
Hello! My name is Kiziah Mae, and I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. I am passionate about helping students improve their English skills in a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment.
As an education graduate, I understand that every student learns differently. I tailor my lessons to each learner's needs, whether they want to improve grammar, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, or overall communication skills. Hello! I'm Kiziah Mae, a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, and I am passionate about helping students become confident English communicators.
My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and interactive. I believe every learner has a unique learning style, so I adapt my lessons to match each student's needs, pace, and goals. I encourage students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and practice using English in real-life situations to build both confidence and fluency.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous topics, followed by the introduction of a new concept using simple explanations and examples. Students then complete guided activities, such as reading passages, grammar exercises, vocabulary building, speaking practice, or writing tasks. I end each lesson with feedback, a short assessment, and tips to help students continue improving outside of class.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, dedication, and genuine commitment to my students' progress. As an English education graduate, I understand effective teaching strategies and strive to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to learn without fear of making mistakes. My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to help students develop confidence in using English in everyday life.
My lessons are suitable for elementary, junior high school and senior high school who need help with grammar, reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversational English, and exam preparation.
