About Elise

I’m a French tutor with more than 4 years of experience and a PhD in French Linguistics, and I’m passionate about teaching adolescents. Teen learners need motivation. I provide it through culture-based lessons. French music, social media trends, and teen cinema guide our discussions. These elements feel familiar and exciting. I teach modern slang and conversational fluency. Speaking is always central. Lessons are interactive and dynamic. Cultural relevance helps memory. Students understand how French is used today. Grammar is learned through context. Confidence grows through encouragement. I value connection with my students. Learning becomes personal and meaningful. My goal is to build confidence, curiosity, and strong cultural connection.

About the lesson

I teach French with an emphasis on creativity, clarity, and confidence. Lessons balance structure with freedom. This approach suits music and theater learners well. We analyze lyrics to understand rhythm and meaning. Play scripts develop expressive dialogue. Pronunciation is treated as performance. Artistic tools bring lessons to life. Conversation is practiced regularly. Exam learners receive focused strategies. Improvement is steady and practical. I adapt lessons to learner needs. Support and encouragement are constant. Confidence builds naturally. Every session invites imaginative and active participation in French.
