About Omar
I am a very driven and meticulous professional who is presently enrolled in Athabasca University's Bachelor of Management Studies program. My experience is exceptionally varied, ranging from community outreach for the City of Toronto to high-touch guest relations at the Westin Harbour Hotel. I offer a global perspective and natural fluency in both Arabic and English to every assignment, having lived and worked in both North America and the Middle East. I am a master at handling intricate digital workflows, ensuring complete data integrity, and providing top-notch service in hectic, remote-capable settings. My objective is always to increase operational efficiency while delivering a smooth, expert experience for all stakeholders, whether I am handling logistical issues or offering kids one-on-one integration support.

My teaching approach, which is based on the 70/30 Rule and Total Physical Response (TPR), makes sure that students actively talk for the most part of the class while I offer high-energy direction and encouraging feedback. A typical 30-minute session starts with a dynamic icebreaker to establish rapport, then uses visual aids to deliver the main topic, and ends with an engaging role-play to reinforce newly learned terminology. My natural Arabic fluency, professional Canadian background, and the special patience and flexibility I acquired while working as an Integration Counsellor at the YMCA are what make me stand out. These classes are especially made for young students (ages 4 to 15) and ESL students at the Beginner to Intermediate levels who want to develop their conversational skills in a safe, stimulating online setting.
