About Pearl
Hi! I’m Pearl and I’m a first year business and economics student at the University of Bristol. I recently achieved 3 A*s in my A-levels (including maths). I genuinely love maths, and I really enjoy helping other students understand it in a way that makes them feel more confident too. I know that maths can sometimes feel overwhelming or frustrating, especially when topics are explained too quickly or in a big class where it's hard to get clarification or help. I’m very relaxed and patient - no pressure or judgement, you can ask anything!

Whether you’re trying to pass, push your grade up, or just feel a bit less stressed about your GCSEs, I can make it feel more manageable and help it click. Lessons are typically an hour long, and I have experience teaching a range of students from Year 8 to Year 11. I use a drawing pad during lessons to work through solutions step by step, helping to make explanations clearer and more engaging for students. How I can help:
• Breaking down difficult topics into simple, step-by-step explanations
• Going through past paper questions
• Teaching exam technique and how to pick up easy marks
• Helping with homework
• Building up confidence in weaker areas
