About Lowri
Cambridge-educated, I am a highly experienced and dedicated tutor with well over 3800 hours’ experience in teaching French, Spanish and English at every level. As a tutor, and as a person, I am unfailingly enthusiastic and encouraging. I have a wealth of knowledge, resources and experience which I am genuinely passionate about passing on. Described as ‘one of the friendliest faces in the university’ (Varsity Top 100), I am unfailingly enthusiastic. A 'turn-around specialist', I work tirelessly to help students achieve the results of which they are capable. My enthusiasm for language in all forms is infectious, whether this be unlocking a Shakespeare text or building the foundations of French and Spanish language from the ground up.

Lowri teaches with patience, kindness and enthusiasm. She is a clever and experienced tutor who strives to enable her students achieve their maximum potential. Plus, she has a lovely, encouraging on-screen presence.
Lowri is such a hard-working tutor. My son is a reticent learner and he often struggles to get out of the starting blocks. Lowri is consistently able to get the best work out of him and teaches him how to make this a transferable skill. Worth every penny.
