My lessons focus on GCSE English Language and Literature for AQA and Edexcel specifications, with experience across other exam boards. I teach the key skills needed for Grade 7–9 success through targeted practice, detailed assessment, and close marking.
I work like a coach: supportive, motivating, and focused on getting the best out of you. The lessons will feel rigorous, but you will enjoy seeing your progress!

Very happy with Elliott's work ethic and his style of tutoring. He kept my daughter engaged right through not only did she enjoy the lessons she also understood what she was being taught.
I can’t recommend Elliott highly enough as an English GCSE tutor. I first got in touch with Elliott because we have mutual friends, who recommended him when I needed support with my English. From the very first lesson, it was clear that he has excellent knowledge of the exam and understands exactly what examiners are looking for in both Language and Literature papers.
What I appreciate most about Elliott’s teaching methods is how structured and supportive they are. He created a clear and realistic revision plan for me, which made my workload manageable and helped me stay motivated. He also helped me a lot with exam technique, especially planning answers, using quotations effectively and managing my time in the exam.
On top of all this, Elliott still somehow made lessons fun and enjoyable, even when the content was challenging overall.View more recommendations
