About Millie
Covering the full spectrum of math from basic arithmetic to complex statistics requires a wide variety of tools. Sometimes I still find that even the most advanced students struggle with fundamental number sense.
I have taught 464 students using specialized problem-solving strategies and mental math techniques to build confidence. My work with high schoolers and adults shows that conceptual learning is the only way to master word problems. Mathematics should be approached as a language of logic rather than a set of memorized formulas. I prefer to keep my instructions simple by focusing on the underlying mechanics of every problem you bring to the table. By leveraging my MS Computer Science from USC, I often show how statistics and probability functions mirror the logical structures found in programming. We will walk through homework help and trigonometry until the concepts click into place for you.
Vedic math techniques are available if you want to speed up your mental calculations during tests. It is helpful to know that 464 students have already used these methods to clear their confusion. I am here to work through these problems until we find the solution that makes sense for you.
