About Lily
Calculus and algebra often feel like invisible barriers until you approach them with pure analytical rigor. I am a precise coach who treats math as a language rather than a set of arbitrary formulas. Having earned a PhD in Statistics from Stanford University, I understand the underlying mechanics that make these concepts click.
My quantitative research and ML background inform how I simplify complex topics like coordinate geometry and trigonometry. I have spent 5 years refining my ability to break down advanced math into digestible components for 56 students.
I find great satisfaction in watching an intermediate learner realize that mental math is simply a matter of recognizing patterns.
