About Ian
I am Head of Academic PE in an independent secondary school. I studied Sports Science at the world renowned Loughborough University. I have also completed my PGCE and MSc at Loughborough University. I am enthusiastic about both the subject and teaching so I regularly engage with personal development to ensure I operate at my best. My favourite sport is rugby but sadly I cant play any more due to knee injuries. So I now get to watch and deliver lots of teaching and coaching opportunities in a range of sports!
As a Head of department I have a strong knowledge of the syllabus and subject content. My school studies OCR and I am also an exam marker for OCR, however I have tutored in both Edexcel and AQA.
At a previous school I have taught AQA alongside some BTEC modules.
