About Natalia
I have been a cellist since I was 8 years old, originally from Monterrey, Mexico. I graduated from the Bachelor of Cello Performance at ESMDM in 2017, studying under the tutelage of Marieta Ivanova, and later I did my master's degree at Johns Hopkins University (USA) studying with the acclaimed Israeli cellist Amit Peled.
I have been the winner of the First Place three times in the National Cello Competition of Monterrey (2010, 2012 and 2014). I was also a semifinalist in Young Virtuosos International Competition 2017 and recently winner of Second Place in MVV Cello Competition 2020.
I have been an active student of the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy in the chair of Antonio Meneses.
During 2016-2019 I served as principal cellist of the UANL Chamber Orchestra, and since 2019 I have been part of the Peabody-Peled CelloGang cello ensemble and I am principal of the Mount Vernon Virtuosi Orchestra in Baltimore, Maryland .
I have performed as a soloist accompanied by different orchestras in the country in cities such as Monterrey, Mexico City, Morelia, Guanajuato, Guadalajara, among others. Abroad I have performed in cities such as Siena (Italy), Sofia (Bulgaria), New York, Baltimore, Washington DC (USA).
I am currently studying the Graduate Performance Diploma program at the Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University in the studio of Professor Amit Peled.

For levels from beginners until advanced, I use the method and teaching system of the renowned cellist and teacher Amit Peled: The First Hour. With this method the student will learn the correct cello technique in the most organic and natural way for the body, obtaining as a result a correct interpretation of any musical work. In these classes you will also learn the basics of music theory, which will allow you to read and play from a score. At the same time, you will be able to learn to play the cello in a fun way: through the emojis used by the Peled method to link all the necessary movements with simple illustrations, which makes the class a highly pedagogical and didactic experience.

La mejor maestra de cello. Está capacitada para dar clases en cualquier nivel que te encuentres dentro del instrumento. Muy profesional y atenta a sus alumnos y sus necesidades.
Natalia es una excelente profesora! La conozco hace dos años y como colega he visto su trabajo con alumnos de diferentes edades.
