About John
Hello! I am Mr. Williams. I am a 31-year-old high school science teacher that specializes in Biotechnology and Biology. I have been teaching in the Florida High School system for 9 years. My degree is in Biology from the University of Central Florida. I teach a 3-year Biotechnology program designed to certify students in two Biotechnology certifications: Biotechnology Aptitude and Competency Exam (BACE) through the University of Florida and the Agricultural Biotechnology Specialist certification through the Florida Farm Bureau. I am also able to showcase labs and skills that are used in professional labs around the world. I look forward to teaching you the hands-on world of Biotechnology!

Students will receive direct instruction aimed around high school and college level Biotechnology content. Standards for learning come from Florida State standards that are aligned with curriculum from the University of Florida Biotility's Biotechnology Aptitude and Competency Exam (BACE).
Topics covered include: Basic Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Laboratory Skills.
Lesson include general instruction, diagrams, charts, and illustrations/demonstrations.
Specialized instruction can also be created to prepare students to become certified in Agricultural Biotechnology through the Florida Farm Bureau.
