About Gesine

Hello and nice to meet you! My name is Gesine. I’m originally from Germany but live in the Bahamas now. I also have a bachelor's degree in business administration from the AKAD University in Kiel. After many years of working in the corporate world of banking as well as medical aid administration on a senior level, I decided to hang up my managerial hat and try something different. I did a sailing course and crossed the Atlantic numerous times, working on charter boats and learning about different cultures along the way.

About the lesson

I love teaching languages and sharing my knowledge of western cultures with my students of 12 years and older!

As a Sports Coach I have taught children aged 12-18 years how to paddle a kayak.

Currently I specialize in teaching business professionals English as well as German online. In my lessons I concentrate on discussing fun and interesting topics to make the learning process more enjoyable.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

I found Gesine through an online platform. After a free trial lesson we started straight away. I am now almost 40 years old and have made countless attempts to learn English. Since Gesine taught me, I have had the courage to apply what I have learned, even if I make mistakes. It strengthens my knowledge not only in the language, but also in health topics. With positive energy, calmness and humor, every class is a great weekly event. The learning materials are varied and even related to my everyday life. I'm incredibly happy that I found Gesine. With her patience, I become braver and have a desire to learn.
