About RUNA
Hi! I'm Runa.
I currently live in Perth, Western Australia, and I enjoy connecting with people from different cultures and sharing not only the Japanese language but also Japanese culture and everyday life.
Having lived and taught in an international environment, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. I always try to create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere where students can learn Japanese with confidence.
I also have a passion for Japanese calligraphy and have practiced it for over 10 years, which allows me to share a deeper appreciation of Japanese culture.

In my lessons, you can choose what you would like to focus on, such as conversation, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or JLPT preparation.
You don't need to prepare any textbooks — I provide all learning materials using Google Slides. Each lesson is carefully designed to match your Japanese level, goals, and interests.
At the beginning of each lesson, we will review what we learned in the previous class to help you remember and build your skills step by step. I can also provide homework and support your review after lessons, so you can continue practicing Japanese outside of class.
Whether you are learning Japanese for the first time, preparing for an exam, or wanting to improve your conversation skills, I will support you and help you enjoy learning Japanese.

My lesson rate includes personalized lesson planning, learning materials created with Google Slides, and support with review and homework.
The first lesson can be used to discuss your goals, current Japanese level, and learning preferences so I can create lessons that are suitable for you.
