About Yun
Hi! I’m Yun, a passionate, award-winning educator with 9 years of experience designing and delivering language, culture, and interdisciplinary programs across China, Spain, and the UK. I hold a BA from Fudan University, an MA in Education (graduated with distinction) from Madrid, and am currently an Erasmus Mundus Scholar pursuing an MSc with the University of Glasgow. I am fully certified, holding both the official Chinese Teacher Qualification Certificate and an IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of being named "Teacher of the Year" for 7 consecutive years and leading HSK exam preparation programs at Glasgow Chinese School. As a native Mandarin speaker fluent in English (C1/C2) and proficient in Spanish (B2/C1), I understand the nuances and hurdles of learning a new language firsthand. I bring cultural heritage, storytelling, and tailored methodology into every lesson to make learning Chinese inspiring, effective, and fun.

As a native Mandarin speaker with a Master’s in Education, an IB Teaching Certificate, and over 9 years of educational experience, I offer customised Chinese lessons for students of all ages and levels—from complete beginners to advanced IB Chinese (A/B) and HSK candidates. My Teaching Approach & Methodology:
I focus on an interactive, student-centred methodology. My lessons combine immersive conversational practice, real-world cultural contexts, and structured grammar training. Being fluent in English and Spanish, I provide comfortable trilingual support to help learners easily overcome language barriers. Lesson Structure & Audience: Standard lessons are 60 minutes long (flexible based on your schedule). Every session is tailored to your specific goals, whether you are preparing for IB/HSK exams, building conversational confidence, or learning for business and travel.
